Following Ehua’s single ‘New Moon’ out on femme culture in September 2018 “with its percussive trail, but taking an atmospheric turn with its reverberating, short vocal chop and lush, wavey synths” (DJ Mag), the London-based Italian-Ivorian producer returns with her promised debut EP Diplozoon, a four tracker that veers from qqom to house via drums, and back again.

Ehua says that “after years and years of listening and observing, becoming a music producer was the natural progression of my artistic journey. I had to go to the source and find the quintessence of my incessantly creative, curious soul.”

This is expressed via an EP that is rich in both dark soundscapes yet playful ones, inspired by dreams, nature and childhood memories woven into layers of in-your-face electronic drums and percussions.

“I’ve always wondered what I am. This EP represents my (long due) artistic self-realisation. I can now “place a lens in front of my heart for all the world to see” (Aldo Palazzeschi).” - Ehua
